GmaB and the Warriors EverAfter offer a place for those alone, lost, feeling isolated. You will find togetherness here when you feel no one else cares.

is the brightest star in the Southern constellation of Carina and the second brightest star in the night sky.

Canopus has been chosen as our "family star" because it is the second brightst star in the heavens.

Argo Navis was the ship used by Jason and the Argonauts in the legend of the Trogjan War. The brightest star in the constellation was given the name of the ship's pilot from anotehr Greek legend: Canopus, the pilot of Menelaus' ship on his quest to retrieve Helen of Troy after she was taken by Paris.

This has been the star for centuries sailors have used to navigate their way home when they were lost and searching and had no hope of ever getting home again.

It is also designated a Carinae, which is romanized (transliterated) to Alpha Carinae with a visual apparent magnitude of -0.74, it is outshone only be Sirius.

Warriors EverAfter are a group of women brought together by their combined love of family, children, giving and compassion to help their communities by providing assistance, financial and spiritual support, guidance and nurturing to children, teens and adults who have no immediate family to help support them in these troubled times. The Warriors EverAfter have been able to provide places to live, school supplies and sports equipment, food and provisions to anyone who is lost and seeking a place to feel safe and supported in their communities.
